Toddler rejection

2.5 year old DD has been poorly with a cough and cold all last week. She has asthma and these things hit her quite hard. I took time off work last week so we spent pretty much 24/7 together.

This weekend she's been all about her daddy, which is very sweet. However, she been rejecting me and shouting "no mummy I want daddy" for everything. I can't go near her, I can't talk to her.

My rational brain knows it's typical toddler behaviour but, bloody hell, my heart is breaking. I just want to cuddle her.

Arh! Just came back to this a few days later... I see no one really cares about my hypersensitive state but it didn't last long Grin she only wanted mummy at bedtime/breakfast and she was my best friend again by Thursday morning.
