seat belt keeps slipping down dd's arm when she falls asleep ZZzzz

does anyone know if there is anything on the market that secures the seatbelt to thus stop it slipping down my daughters arm away from her shoulder as she has developed a habit of falling asleep and slowly falling forward thus rendering the seatbelt useless, this stresses me out as i dangerously seem to drive spending far too much time looking in my mirror at her to check she hasn't fallen forward, this never used to happen. i went into halfords today but the young worker there just seemed to look at me with mouth wide open and didn' know what planet i was on. cheers

You can buy a clip that goes across the chest and ties the 2 straps together OYSWIM, I can't find it at the mo though, hang on!

Actually thinking about it you probably mean a normal seatbelt as opposed to a harness....hmmm..how old is your daughter?

thanks for all your responses - she has a car seat (with back, not just the base) - you put the seat belt through the red clip so it goes across her and through another red clip lower down and then the seat belt clips in normally (not sure if i am making any sense?) - the annoying thing is that as she falls into a deeper sleep she slowly falls forward and because it is slow the seat belt allows this so she ends up with her head in the lap and the seat belt has allowed her shoulders out, very scary so she ends up only being held in by the strap going across her lap - i am not sure if any of the things you guys showed me are right for her - someone told me something had just been invented to deal with this problem - does noone else have their child do this? mert' is 4 1/2. jox
