I’ve always read to my LO, she has loads of books and I’ve made a point of reading at any time of the day (not just bedtime). But in the last 6 months I’ve probably finished 2 books max, she likes to pick books and “fake” read to herself but whenever I try and read a book she snatched it out of my hand or wanders off or says “Mummy no”. I appreciate this isn’t the worst problem but I do want to know Is this just age?
For what it’s worth she’s a very active child, prefers to be out at the park than sitting with toys for ages.

I think I would just let her fake read to herself and not concentrate on the fact you're not finishing the book/story. She's interested in the books which is a good thing. You could try lift the flap books or one of those first 100 words books to see if you can interact with reading/spotting things together.
