Dating a much older man?

I’m aware this is a parenting forum but this is the only place I feel comfortable in posting questions like this as there are fellow Mum’s who are always nice to me on here..

I’m 26, single mum to an almost 3 year old and recently at a family event I met a man in his mid 40’s and I feel like we possibly hit off.. after the event we added each other on Facebook and have been speaking to each other the past 3+ weeks late evening until gone midnight, and we’ve arranged to go for drinks next weekend.

However, neither of us have specifically said it’s a date so I’m wondering if it actually is? I find myself waiting for him to reply to me and can’t get him out of my head... and I’m also nervous as he has close ties with my family.

Thoughts please? As in, thoughts on does he like me like I like him? Is it a date?

Yes it sounds like it is a date.

Yes it’s a date and it sounds like you get on. I’d enjoy it but if it works out be sure that you will be ok behind with a 70 year old when you are 50...

@BrassTactical Yes I agree that we get on ☺️ Our conversations last a long time and they’re always long messages! I’m fine with that x
