My child started school in september. I stand with a couple of new mums at the gates. One lady is a recently converted muslim in her early 20s. She has two lovely children who she is doing a great job of raising. Although she seems super strict! Her DD on the taster day was writing whole sentences and cutting out shapes to show her teacher what she could do. My daughter is writing her name and scribbling mainly but is starting to draw people, flowers etc and is starting to write words bless her!! She's not really reading but is picking up the odd word. She memorises most of her books. This little girl from her class is also an alphabet whizz and reading way beyond most four year olds. She can write absolutely anything put Infront of her. She's basically an all round clever little girl.
She started swimming 6 weeks ago. My child's been going five months and is still in the first level. After 6 weeks this child's in level 2. Amazing as I was told it's about a year per level. We do go to different clubs though so it could be different.
I noticed a while ago this girl tripped over on the way to school and her mum took her to one side and told her off and blamed her lack of concentration on the fall. It was quite harsh as she had literally tripped in the leaves that were hiding the edge of someone's garden. She seems to come down on her alot but tells us she's a lovely sweet girl at home that tidies cleans and helps.
I babysat this little girl after school on Friday. She was nothing like the girl I know stood with her mum. She wouldn't listen to me. She ran off. She was shouting disgusting at strangers in the street. We got to mine. She went in my cupboards and took food. I told her to stop after two snacks and she ignored me. She ran upstairs and sprayed my deodorant everywhere. She laughed everytime I told her to stop doing things. Refused to get out my bedroom.I couldnt get her to get her shoes on to take her home. She also kept getting my soap and squirting it everywhere. I just was shocked and glad when she went home lol! Even my DD was telling her off in the end.
Is this her rebelling do you think. I definitely will be making excuses not to have her again because she simply doesn't listen. I ofcourse told her mum she had been good as I didnt want to get her in trouble
