Baby sick after 1st jabs

I took my baby for her 1st immunisations yesterday morning, since then she has been really mucusy and has a terrible sounding hacking cough.

She also vomited (not just a bit of spit up, actual projectile puke!) last night (around 6 hours after vaccinations) and again this morning. A lot of sick for a tiny baby, surprising amounts! I contacted the surgery nurse and she advised some babies have sensitive tummies to the rotavirus drops they’d administered orally. She did, at the time of administrating, say baby would likely have very loose stools but we haven’t had those, only the sickness.

Just wondering if the sickness and the cold/cough are likely to be associated with the immunisations, or perhaps where her immune system is busy fighting off those she’s picked up a bug.

Poor little thing is not complaining and happy in herself when awake, just sniffling and coughing a lot and obviously the sickness as well.

Have been giving her infant calpol yesterday but not today as the nurse said that might also be irritating her tummy as up until now she’s only ever ingested my breastmilk and now she’s had both the rotavirus drops + calpol.
