My 11 year old son has come home from school with two marks on his face. He wouldn’t tell me what happened to start with. But it seems he and his friends are playing some mad game where they rugby tackle each other at play time. He didn’t tell the teacher and doesn’t want me to . I get the impression he’s a bit embarrassed plus doesn’t want to get anyone into trouble. Should I mention to the school? He didn’t seem bothered or upset but if they are playing rough I wouldn’t want someone to get an elbow in the eye but at same time don’t want to come across as some over protective mum?? Do you think the school would want to know? I briefly worked as a lunchtime assistant at a school and I remember there were certain things/ways the children weren’t allowed to do/play?? He’s at primary school still :)

Leave it. Your son sounds fine.
