First child rejection...

So this is going to sound completely crazy but I feel like my 15m DS is rejecting me either because I’ve gone back to work and ‘abandoned’ him or because I’m pregnant again and he can sense/smell a change or something

I’ve been back at work for 11 weeks and he goes to nursery 2 days a week and then with grandparents for the other 3 days

In the last few days he won’t let me cuddle or comfort him at all...only wants daddy when he’s always been a mummy’s boy

I wouldn't take it to heart. My LO is around the same age and has days where she prefers me and days where she prefers my DH. She goes through patches too where her favourite person is her nan or her grandfather.

It's easy as a mum to feel guilty about everything so be kind to yourself. You're at work for a reason. It may feel like he's rejecting you but he's still little and will love you very much. He might just want cuddles from other people at the moment.
