It is 11.15am.

He has on a bamboozle and a vest. (I only have 1 vest like it so he will be in the same one each time).

Will tell you when the vest is wet

you are brave. I had thought of a similar things but realised theres way too many variables in play but good luck

FlameBatfink · 19/08/2007 23:15

It had to be cancelled for the day... a) he fell asleep (skews the results)

b) we had to go to a friend's house and she would NOT have been impressed with him running round in a dirty vest and no wrap

But.... we can safely announce that it went 4 hours and had life left in it.

oh no.. but good results in the end.

was it a rainbow bamboozle ? - as im finding these to be a different quality to the natural ones.

My rainbow ones have gone quite threadbare after only a handful of months while my natural ones are ok but noticably smaller in size

it'd be interesting to see if theres any difference between them

Eek - hadn't added rainbows into the bargain! You wanna lend me one of them too?

Twas just a normal bamboozle - am all excited about the bambinex coming so I can see the difference (only seen new ones before, not washed etc!)

It's worrying that I am having to borrow the nappies! My bamboozles got grown out of, and I only have wambamboos of my own, no bambinex!

Adding fluffles and teddies into the mix too so I can get a proper list of most absorbant!!

(I have a sad little life, I really do...)

no not sad at all!

sure dont mind lending one at all - you'll get to see what I mean with regards to quality as well as I dont think Im the only one having this problem.

I see we both burn the midnight oil

nappyneeds · 20/08/2007 00:32

Ive done a 'drying time' test before - which was interesting - so you must add me to the 'sad life' list.. but hey its great being into baby/kiddie stuff while they are still young as it doesnt last forever. My eldest is 9 soon and hes so... grown up!

FlameBatfink · 20/08/2007 00:41

I'm rocking in a corner at the idea of my eldest starting school, let alone being 9!!

I'd love to borrow a rainbow one if you would My email is flamesparrow at gmail dot com

I did a drying test too... Only fluffles & teddies so far. The teddy won by something like 15-30 mins due to not having the binding on the liner bit!

Can you throw in the nappy I gave you to trial?!

How're you getting on with it?

FlameBatfink · 20/08/2007 16:50

Hate it with a passion I need to send you money for that - can you email me where to send it to (it had an unfortunate dying incident and is in no returnable state )
