Applying eye drops to toddler

How's your best method of applying eye drops to your toddler/child? Can't bear holding her down and forcing it. Squirty gun applicator would be more fun! Was thinking while they were sleeping would be better?? Any ideas would be great. Thanks

With things like eye drops and jabs with my boys I say it will give them some sort of super power against being poorly and buy them a cape to put on ( with a girl could do cape or wand ) They think it’s amazing and love getting it done xx

My 3 year old needed drops a few months ago. I was so worried about giving them to her, but once she understood she got a lolly as a reward for lying still, she took them like a champ!
