10 month old sick in bed

My 10 month old has a bit of a cold. Tonight as I put her to bed she didn't settle and I picked her up, she had only had a small amount of milk and her dinner about an hour before. There was a tiny bit of her dinner in her bed which she must have thrown up and a wet patch where she must have brought milk up.

She then had a full bottle of milk and is now asleep. Should I sleep in with her tonight in case she is sick in her sleep? She's never been a sickly baby and hasn't had reflux or anything. I haven't noticed her bringing up milk in bed like that before.

I've got a 2.5yr old and if she's ever sick which is rare I sleep in with her. It's probably over the top but I get scared of choking

I co sleep so it’s a bit different but I always feel better having them in with me when they’re ill

Was she coughing or upset and crying? This tends to make my DD vomit. She's always been fine after when calm and sleeping. If it's a possible tummy bug I guess there is more possibility of it happening again through the night. I personally don't sleep in her room with her, but we can hear easily over the monitor (and through the wall!) if she is upset, coughing or probably also vomiting.
