Ditching the damn bottle!!!

Please mumsnet I need some ideas! Son (3.5 years) who is pretty much potty trained Is still having a small bottle (a baby’s bottle -argh!) of milk at bedtime, sometimes resulting in him soaked through in the morning. Surprisngly ditching his dummy was a breeze but he finds milk at bedtime such a comfort. Advice please on when to stop drinks in the evening to avoid bed wetting and how to get rid of the bottle! Thanks!

My daughter left her dummy out on Christmas Eve for santa to collect and give to a baby as a present, she was so excited about Christmas and getting her presents that giving it up wasn't as much as a deal as I thought it would be.

I also swapped her having a dummy for a short dvd in bed and a bedtime story afterwards, because she was a 'big girl' and now had a big girl bedtime routine.

Would that work for you DS?

Night dryness is hormonal and often develops later than day time control.
