Swearing in front of baby???

AIBU to ask my partner to not swear in front of our 4 month old? He swears so much, even when talking to our baby and I really don't like it, I don't like it when kids swear but he thinks it's funny when young kids say 'sh*t' and others, which I personally don't find funny at all. Whenever I ask him to tone his language down a bit he gets in a right strop and says I'm controlling him and I'm stuck up and storms off! Am I just being too much of a fanny?

I just really don't like it when he calls our son a f@#ing divvy and asks if he's had a sh#t

This is seriously not acceptable behaviour, I just couldn't put my child through that.
Is there anyway you can tell him to leave, this needs to be done as you and him don't even sound strong as a partnership.
You all deserve better.

why on earth did you have a baby with this fucking bell end?
I think you know you need to leave him. unfortunately you'll still have to deal with him for the next 18 years.

He changed for a good few years and things were great, then as soon as our baby was born he just instantly reverted back and I don't know why. I know what I need to do it's just finding the courage to do it. But thanks everyone

I honestly can’t believe what I’m reading here. Since when did it become okay to swear in front of your children ? No wonder so many kids go to school and swear in the playground. No it’s not okay. Not if you’re a half decent person. And why would you need to swear around a baby either? If you’re going to swear do it quietly away from your kids. There’s something called setting an example.
