6 month old tilting head to left side

Someone please ease my mind, my son has been tilting his head to the left side quite often the last few weeks. When I hold him up he will thrash backwards with his head tilted to the side, is fine in himself. He sometimes tugs at the left side ear, doctors said no ear infection. He only really does it when he is sitting down. Anyone else experienced something similar? I shouldn't take to google in these situationsHmm

I would go back to the doctor and ask for a referral to ent.

Can he roll over? My girl used to do a weird stretch thing and cry out - turns out she was trying to roll over.

My son used to have this too but it was gone by the time he was sitting. MW said his neck was just stronger on one side. What hapoens if you get him to look at something to his right? Full movement?

Hiya so he has been rolling for over a month now, I took him to the doctors about it and they said they have no concerns because he is well in himself which is fair enough but it still worries me because its quite frequent throughout the day. Oh god google said something about brain tumour Haha hence why I need to stay off the thing! Could be a new thing he is doing, he doesnt do it on the right side though only the left. If I call his name he will turn his head right so I dont know what is going onConfused yesterday he started throwing his head back when laying on his front so I'm not sure If he is just messing around

DS tugs at his ear when teething. Rolling he only did in one direction for ages, guess it was his strongest side.

My 6month old also dose this weird stretch when trying to roll over or whenever I put her in bed really. If your conceded I would just go back to gp. I know with my gp I often feel fobbed off I also feel like I'm not listened to by them it's frustrating when it come to our babies

Mine did this for a while at the same age and it panicked me! Also had no sign of infection.
He’s 9 months now and hasn’t done it for quite a long time but can’t pinpoint when it stopped. I think it was just a bit of a habit he’d got into!

Oh bless I'm so relieved you said your LO did the same, such a relief! Hopefully he will grow out of it as well. I keep going back to the doctors but they do brush you off like you're mad dont they

I wondered if it was linked to teething as he still hasnt had any cut through yet, probably a mix of everything
