Birthday party Etiquette

So my 3 year old DD has a party to go to this morning. However, she’s been full of cold all week and was complaining that her ear hurt last night. She seems a lot better this morning but I don’t know if I should take her or not. What is the etiquette when it comes to snotty kids and parties?

She’s saying she doesn’t want to go but I can’t work out whether it’s because she’s under the weather or shyness. She’s said the same for other parties she’s been invited to but has enjoyed them when she’s come out of her shell.

Either way is fine imo.
Children are snotty lots of the time :) If you think she's OK to go, fine, but if she's under the weather then the hosts won't be offended if you let them know.

Send apologies and keep her at home.
