Please send me some postive vibes someone! Been potty training ds (aged 2 and a half)for 4 days and although he is clean, he seems to be going backwards with weeing. Day 2 he was asking to go wee-wees, Day 3 only 3 accidents but today he is not asking at all and even when reminded says he doesn't need to go then has an accident about a minute later - this includes an accident in the park and in 2 pairs of wellies! Really don't want to use pull ups when going out but guess I'm going to have to as have 2 other kids and we can't stay in forever. Dd was trained in a day at 22 months!!

Lol just as I was writing this he asked to go wees and went in his pot!

Hi, You had a very good (but unusual!) experience with no1 and now no2 isn't proving quite so easy...

My ds was potty/toilet trained (wees only) in about 3 ish weeks, still had the odd accident for a while after.

I think 4 days is jsut beginning....

How are you doing it?? I don't understand where to start.

Hi, I had the same experience as you first time round - ds1 had 1 accident the first day then he'd cracked it. Dd decided she was going to train a couple of weeks ago, which I thought would be as easy as ds1 because he decided when the time was right too.

Nope, same as you - 1 step forwards, 3 steps back, more wet and pooey pants than I care to remember. Then, just when I was about to put her back in nappies, she cracked it and we've only had 1 accident this week. I think it took about 10 - 12 days to get there so all I can advise is patience .

It's a bit of a shock when the first was so easy, isn't it? I never had to scrape poo off ds1's pants, so that was a whole new world of fun .

Keep going, and good luck!
