Dogs and Halloween KNOCKING

Hi!
So tomorrow is Halloween! Happy Halloween if you celebrate it!

My dog is a little pug, wouldn't hurt a fly at all and never has done.. Now 3 years old.
I've trained her to bark at the door if she hears a knock, just for personal reasons such as breaking in or even family coming to visit. She doesn't bark nastily, she actually gets excited because she thinks there's someone she knows behind the door.
Trick or treaters will be knocking. I've made a sign that says "my dog will bark at your knock, but don't be afraid. She is friendly and she will be in my arms. And you can even treat her! Thankyou"

Would you still let your child knock?
Thanks in advance!
P s any other reassuring advice would help too x
