The title is pretty self-explanatory, but to give you a bit more info...

I'm not too bothered by this because I can give him a bottle and he'll fall straight back to sleep.

What bothers me is that he only does it when I'm there. He can stay at my sister's, with his dad, with his aunty's, nan, etc. and he doesn't wake up in the night. I'm not sure if they're fibbing, I can't imagine why they would but yeah, I've tried leaving him to cry, reassuring him but nothing seems to help and I can't imagine these techniques helping since he only wakes up when I'm around.

Has anyone been through this? Any advice? Blush

Looking for a baby program no digital to use at home for the development of my baby 9 month old .

My 2 year old still wakes up too. I’m just rolling with it and assuming he will sleep eventually! TBF, although my 5 year old sleeps well, my 7 year old still has phases of waking up. I think it’s just how they’re wired. .

@PotteringAlong I thought this too! But everyone keeps commenting on it I don't know if I should be trying something different

I worried about it a lot with my first and tried all sorts. With the third one we’re a lot less stressed and a lot less tired now we’re just doing whatever gets us all the most sleep!

@PotteringAlong maybe I'd do the same like I said it doesn't bother me at all and I don't want to put him through crying

You only have their word for it. Sil's baby "slept through", with at least 3 bouts of crying, loud enough to wake me on the next room.
