My 6 week DD!

I've tried massage, pumping/bicycling legs, infacol and gripe water. However she's still in a lot of pain and will only relax once carried/rocked for a long time and will fall asleep. If I put her down to sleep, after a few mins she starts to grimace and thrash around/bringing her legs up.

She's farting A LOT but it doesn't seem to relieve her. She's generally burping fine after feeding (Breast). She also goes for days without pooping (maximum is 9 days, averages 6).

Any advice? Could changing my diet help? (I feel I have a relatively well balanced diet) TIA!

This sounds exactly how my little one was I found that two things worked wonders for him , I put a muslin under his Moses basket mattress to elevate him slightly so he wasn't flat this seemed to really help and I also found a swaddle worked well as they are so tight and he felt comforted.

I'm not sure how you are burping but they say that breast fed babies wind is lower down , I found when I held him over my shoulder and burped it didn't work so use to face him out and hold my hand under his chin to burp him .

Babies are a minefield !!
