Tommee Tippee Sterliser Black Dots..

I have recently used the boots descaler 2 times on my tommee tippee steriliser. Before that I used white vinegar.
I think it has ruined the bottom of my steriliser. Has this happened to anyone else with the boots descaler?

Hi Op id contact Tommee tippee for advice I'm sure I once read somewhere that people were having issues with the electric sterilisers getting black dots on them etc
