My 2wk old baby is not sleeping at night every time I put him down in his chicco next2me he cries and stops as soon as he is in my arms. He sleeps well during the day in his chicco hug.

Can someone recommend any pods/cocoons that are safe for overnight sleeping? I've seen the sleepy night but it's unclear if it is safe..
idk what to do I am abs shattered and need some rest
I am breast feeding him and he seems to be cluster feeding throughout the night - any suggestions on how to change this?

Thanks xx

Cluster feeding is completely normal and necessary to establish your supply so that's a good thing, no need to try and change it. Have you read up on safe cosleeping? Much easier especially for nighttime feeding.

Look at the lullaby trust for safe sleeping. Unfortunately no sleepyhead style things are recommended for safe over night sleeping.

Cluster feeding over night is essential to increase your milk supply as that is when your body produces the hormone prolactin which makes milk. Week 3 is often the worst. If you can sleep during the day when baby sleep. I have a 3 year old so that rarely works for me. Try to get baby in the daylight during the day, a Moses basket in the window is fine and keep it dark and quiet at night.

This is the position to safely share a bed with your baby

Hang in there it does get better soon.
