4 month weaning and reflux

Hi there

Since my health visitors are a nightmare could anyone offer any advice on starting babies weaning early due to reflux. My little one is 17 weeks and has been on omeprazole and anti reflux milk since 2 months due to reflux problems. Paediatrician advised starting weaning at 17 weeks. I'm in no immediate rush to do this and want to have a review with my GP first but wanted to ask how other mums approached this? Did it help?
Also do I keep her on anti reflux milk while I introduce solids?
My current thinking is just introducing a teaspoon of baby rice before her milk once a day first...
Welcoming any helpful responses here!

We were advised to wean at 17 weeks for reflux and CMPA. My experience was projectile vomit several times a day 4ish weeks to 7 months, more so after any solids (finally calming down now at 9 months).

Try really bland non acidic foods, all starchy, and hope for the best. And stick with your meds and milk if they work. Baby rice, weetabix, plain redy brek, mashed potatoes. None of which are nutritionally great ofc, but reflux babies are very hard work!

Oh gosh... thank you... yes someone else has said it took at least 10 months for things to settle. Her AR milk and meds do help but she is still sick ALOT... it just no longer seems to cause her pain. Thanks... I'll try some baby rice I think to start slowly and see how we go... nervous in case it makes her worse but I guess nothing can be as bad as what she was like pre-meds!
