Non bio isn't going to harm your babies skin. That's what you're meant to use! Why handwash? Get the clothes in the machine

Oh no sorry I meant I got a non hand wash one in error when I hand wash. I wash them by hand as I don't have enough clothes to turn matching in regularly it's just babies bits daily.
I wondered what's the harm in using the gel for hand wash when it says only for machine non hand wash

I find the gel doesn’t wash the clothes properly (same as shower gel I use soap) Can you put your babies clothes on a short cycle in the machine using the gel?

It probably means that it's not designed for handwashing, so it might not dissolve in the water all that well. But not that it's actually harmful or anything like that. You'll just have to swish it around a lot to get it to dissolve.

I called fairy and they said it's not tested n things for hand wash so best not to

You want to spend time daily handwashing clothes while looking after a newborn?? I felt productive if I managed to wash a few dishes Confused or even my hair! It won’t harm your baby’s skin, unless they have a skin condition any washing powder is fine.

Just bung their stuff in with yours in the washing machine

AnythingNotEverything · 17/10/2019 18:52

You don't need to wash baby's clothes every day. Save them up until you have enough, or put baby's things in with yours.

Ginfordinner · 17/10/2019 18:54

Use Fairy powder in your washer, and put your clothes in to make up a load.

Horehound · 17/10/2019 22:29

Yes I wouldn't be hand washing baby bits daily. Just bung in with your stuff.

NannyR · 17/10/2019 22:36

Washing your babies clothes in the machine with your stuff will be fine, even using bio powder (which is the best option for getting rid of sick and poo stains). You could do an extra rinse cycle of you are worried about skin irritation.

Expressedways · 17/10/2019 22:39

Buy your baby some more clothes if they’re running out that quickly and wash everyone’s stuff together in the washing machine using the non-bio. No need to make unnecessary work for yourself.
