Ideas before end of mat leave

I have one month left of mat leave until I'm back in work and just want to make the most of it. Please can you help me writing a list of ideas? My baby is 11 months. I'm thinking; day at the zoo, country walk, finish baby book etc?

I really like your post, not sure why more folk haven't responded. I've just started mat leave with my son he's 7 weeks today! Like you, I really want to make the time memorable. Is there a ceramic experience place near where you live? I went to one near me and got an imprint of his tiny hands and feet. It wasn't too expensive £40 and was fun to do with him, they have a cafe there too. Also did his paint footprints on a picture frame surround £25, nice keepsake I think. They have all sorts of things you can make up, mugs, plates, coasters, vases and Xmas tree baubles!

Can you write a letter to your baby to form part of their memory stuff talking about what you did, how you felt etc and that you're looking forward to the next adventures?

More practically: get a recipe file / folder sorted for rotating meal plans that fit with working patterns.

EmeraldIsle81 - thank you for your reply. When our DS was born we had 4 all different DIY feet and hand imprint sets given to us which we haven't used as I had forgotten about them until now! So thank you for reminding me as we can do those.

FusionChefGeoff - love the letter idea I'll do that! Also good point about the practical side of things I definitely should get more organised.
