Am I the only parent who does this?

This isn't a huge problem for me but I was just curious if any other parent have found the most basics of things the hardest to figure out?
How to hold the baby, nailed it
How to change a dirty nappy, no problems there
Teething? Please I became a pro at handling that.
It's the stupid little things that no parent seems to talk about that I've struggled with. Like how often are you supposed to wash their hair? When's the appropriate age to put a pillow in their bed to sleep on? At what age do you stop putting the vests on then with the poppers underneath them? And many other things that are so minor that I can't even remember what they are? I feel so ridiculous but it's the ridiculous things like that, that's made me lose my mind at times lol

Not just you! I stopped popper vests when I couldn’t be bothered putting them on anymore-about 18 months I think. Pillow was when they outgrew sleeping bags and we put duvet in with them. Hair wash-twice a week for us and occasionally more when they were young and grubby!

no i was like that as a first time parent, i think family google, forums and fb groups are really helpful in that way.

I've seen threads about pillows and vests recently, you're not alone! I've not seen anything about hair, I'm now worried about that if ds ever grows some.

I'm lucky that a tonne of my friends have had babies just before me, so I ask them the stupid stuff. Questions sent: Do you put calpol syringes in the dishwasher? How do you use a 360 cup? How do you wash a cup with a straw? And thousands more.
