Hi we switched to hipp from cow and gate (normal milk and then colic and constipation) as baby wasn’t reacting well to either and found that within a day or two on hipp he settled down and we haven’t had a single problem in the last 10 weeks or so since we changed!

We used hipp (switched from aptamil) with no issues, and I just did it in one go. We also tried kendamil which made her a bit sicky. My only bugbear about hipp is that it comes in foil bags in a cardboard box, and it is difficult to make a bottle up without making a mess! I ended up keeping a tin from another brand to decant into, which I clean every week.

We have a metal tin from the kendamil we were using, and we just wash with warm soapy water, making sure to get in under the rim. Then dry on the radiator! We had a pasta tin to start with, but that went rusty in the base.

My youngest loved hipp organic. Best milk I found.

I bought the ready made stuff to eliminate all the faff with making it up. Mine wasn't exclusively bottle fed though, so I could absorb the cost.
