Dd turns 4 in a few weeks, has always been super confident and outgoing, would march up to kids in the park and make friends with them etc. For a few months though now she's been incredibly nervous in new situations! One of them was a ballet class we tried out which she was really excited about but got the heeby jeebies once we got there and didn't take part. Then I went to get her feet to get measured the other day, again initially excited but once the woman came to measure her feet she ran and hid! Her pre school we're having photos today but she refused to have them done and got very upset about it. The staff were really surprised as she's so confident and outgoing while she's there.
Is this just a phase? It's making me sad for her! Anything I can do to help her?
