Ok, so I have eventually just got mines down for a sleep and although the house is now quiet my ears are still ringing from the assault they have taken since 7am this morning. Had the dentist this morning also - that was an experience. It's been a really tough day (Thursdays always are) and I wish it was bedtime already..... Is anyone else in the same boat, have any funny stories about life with 3 under 3 or any good tips to get through days like this?

Oh god you have my sympathy, I don’t know how you do it. I had 2 under 2 (now 2.4 and 9 months) and that is hard enough, no idea how I’d cope with another one in the mix. You are doing amazingly!

Aaaaand now they're in bed, praise the lord. I don't know about amazing minai I'm pretty much just fire fighting and surviving most days. If anyone told me when I had my first that that the baby stage was the easy stage I wouldn't have believed them. But it has been for me anyway. DS1 had a tantrum earlier because DS2 drank his 'imaginary tea' HmmI'm talking full on screaming and veins popping out! I can laugh about it now that they're in bed but when you're in the thick of it it's anything but funny.....

Ahh the joys of the early years. My own particular ‘omg what the fuck have I done’ moment happened when I picked up then 2y 10m old dd1 and 1year 8m old ds1 from nursery when ds2 was 4 months old and one ran across the car park one way, one ran the other way and I couldn’t catch them. I’d just that morning found out I was pregnant again and I sat on the floor and cried til someone helped me.

They are 16, 15, 13 and 12 now and whilst teen hormones can be joyous, I can look back at those baby days fondly and laugh. Mostly. Grin
