Hiya,

Ds has been potty training for about two weeks, and even though he has had no accidents, (or as soon as he notices he is, he stops and asks for the toilet), I have yet to take him outside or in the car without any sort of nappy on.

I'm going out this morning and am thinking of just putting his clothes on, and hoping he doesn't have a wee in the car (though I'll have potty on me).

Would you do it?

Thanks

yes, put an old towel on the seat just in case (and get some disposable changing mats/ bed mats for the job in future)!

Yes, just do it! I potty trained dd 2 weeks ago and I've been amazed at how long she can go between wees! We did a 1 hour 40 minute car journey at the weekend and she was absolutely fine. We also went shopping yesterday and she managed for 2 hours.

Go for it.

As Wheelybug suggests, put an old towel in the car seat just in case. I bought some of those disposable changing mats, cut them into quarters and used them. However, they were a waste of money as dd has never had an accident (fingers crossed in case it all goes wrong now!)

Thanks for the advice.

Old towel is in the car ready!

Wish me luck

I think you can get car seat protectors called piddle pads or something similar - may be worth googling or checking ebay perhaps?
