Giving up bottles?

My DD is 15 months old and has been bottle fed with formula since birth. The last few days she has been drinking her milk and biting the teat of the bottle, almost like she's playing with it. She has been teething so it may be that she's looking for some relief but I'm wondering if it's a sign she's ready to give up her bottles now?

She drinks water from a Nuby 360 cup throughout the day without a problem. She currently has 3 bottles of 5-6oz milk in a day (one when she wakes up, another mid-morning and one before bed). Other friends' babies around the same age seem to have grown disinterested in milk but my DD seems to still like it a lot and get excited/agitated for a bottle if she sees one.

How old was your DC when you gave up bottles? And did you just replace their milk in a 360 type sippy cup?

DD1 was very attached to her bottle and it was a bit of a battle to get her to give it up at around 18 months.
Because I didn’t want the same battle again I stopped bottles completely for DD2 at 12 months. Switched for the munchkin weighted straw cup. No issues at all. She didn’t drink as much milk out of the cup as the bottle but it wasn’t an issue, she just upped her food intake to compensate.
DS is 9 months and I’ll be doing the same with him at 12 months.

my dd is 14 months and has 2 cups of milk a day, as soon as she turned 12 months I just swapped the bottle for a 360 cup and she still drinks it no issues whatsoever. After 2 days I just threw the bottles in the bin

I Breast fed mine but my nephew was still having bottles at night at 6/7!!! Please don't make the same mistake, he had to have 11 teeth removed at 9yrs old, 2 of them adult teeth.

We have been swapping slowly since she was about 13 months, she's 16 months now. She has a sippy cup of cold whole milk in the morning, how much she drinks varies, usually between 3 and 6oz. Then before bed she has warm whole milk in a bottle but not a proper bottle, she has it in a sort of sippy bottle we have that is either NUK or Nuby 12m+ bottle or in a Phillips Avent bottle that again is sort of a bottle but has a free flow teat. She's taken to all of them absolutely fine. We switched from 3 bottles to two at about 11 months, she wasn't phased as she wasn't drinking much of the afternoon bottle then anyway, she just upped her solids a bit. My DD has never drank out of a 360 cup though, we tried a few and she never took to them.
