Are mam bottles good for colic? I've got a couple of Dr browns but find they leak alot. What's people experience with the mam bottles? Xx

The mam bottles were brilliant for us. DD had an undiagnosed tongue tie and the shape really helped her get a better seal and suck in less air. Easy to sterilise in the microwave too.

MAM all the way for us.

We tried Tommee Tippee, Dr Browns and Mam. DD was great with Dr Browns but she was generally an easy baby. DS we tried all 3 in that order and he was best on Mam. Easier to clean and sterilise than Dr Browns too.

Thanks ladies, how did you find the teats on the mam? Been trying size 1 and they seem OK about 30-40 mins to finish a feed. My little girl is 5 weeks old x

My DS was very tricky to feed (until he stopped having bottles in the day). He found the mam teat quite fast and we've never progressed past that number 2. Number 3 we tried but he choked and sputtered. He is definitely 1 of a kind though so not sure if that's a general view! 30 mins and 5 weeks sounds good to me.
