End of my tether

Just looking for a place to sound off really. For the last couple weeks I’ve hit a low ive never had before. I have 3DC two in primary school and one a toddler and have had enough. I work four days a week in a busy and responsible profession. I only work three short days and one long to fit around the children. My DH works full time and often works weekends. Today I lost it with the younger two. It was raining and therefore difficult to entertain. One child is moaning constantly. I tried the positive parenting approach for two hours and then just couldn’t take anymore, I shouted at him and he started to cry, I mean wail . Eventually we got out of the house to go to a shop to choose an activity for the wet afternoon. I didn’t even get in the door of the shop before the toddler lay on the floor and had a tantrum. He’s only just started to grow out of them -they have been pretty full on compared to the other two. We then got home and he decided he wasn’t going to nap. Im coming down with a heavy cold and I just feel like calling in sick. I’m not proud of myself- I’ve told my daughter tonight that I wouldn’t come back in life again as a mother as it was all just pretty hard work formnot much reward today. I shouldn’t of said it and I apologised to her but she understood perhaps she could help a bit more when dad is working 16 hour shifts. Im snapping at them as I’m finding it all too much. I have no family who lives locally but parents in law do. They’re older and don’t do much other than take my daughter swimming once a week. Plus they’ve been away for 3 weeks.
Does anyone else have days/weeks like this?
