Can anyone recommend the best bottle for a posterior tongue tie? Dr Browns seem to have several different ranges so i’m A bit confused as not sure which is best!

Thanks

Dr Browns options wide neck bottles are pretty good there seems to be only slight variations in them but they are very good bottles worth the money.

Have you decided against having it snipped? It's a 10 second procedure if it's done early.

Lactation consultant will be used to snipping for bottle fed as well as breast fed babies, and there will be zero judgement.

Both mine had thick tongue ties and the only bottles they managed were Mam as the teat is a lot wider than other ones.

None of the lactation consultants so far have said they would do it because i’m formula feeding but I would definitely be open to having it snipped... have one more person to try tomorrow!

I know our local LC definitely snips for FF babies. If you pm I can give you her details. People travel a long way to see her, and she’s a bit of a national authority on TT.
You could email yiu and she should be able to recommend someone more locally to you.

@mazzamoo123 it's difficult isn't it! The NHS wouldn't snip ff babies but mine couldn't breastfeed so what can you do. We paid a private midwife in the end - I think it was about £200.
