I had this same dilemma a few weeks ago. In the end I got dd an Anipalz (similar thing to tamagotchi), HAMA beads, lunch box, MP3 player, jigsaw.

She also got pjs, paint your own tea set and littlest petshop thing, dress up things and roller skates

Craft things?
Some places do non branded tamagotchi if £15 is outside your budget.

no no i meant i dont want to spend only 15 lol i was thinking hama but i also have a very destructive 4 year old and i fear he will lose/swallow/stuff up nose/ear/feed them to the cats.........

What about the Tamagotchi, if that is all she is asking for, AND some Hama? Hama beads are so small they could be swallowed with no problems I suspect! DD's had Hama beads hersellf since being 3 or 4, so he might even like a go.

Sorry that link didn't work like I wanted. Put rose petal cottage in the search box and it should come up

iliketosleep · 13/08/2007 17:23

thats the one....but shit, its ages 3+ think it may be a bit small for her?

I would be deighted if the thing they really wanted was only £15 I wouldn't buy more things simply for the sake of it, time enough when they are asking for the world!
