Impetigo & breastfeeding

Hi there, my baby (8 months) has impetigo & I'm still breastfeeding. The blisters are very sore/wet/open around his mouth. Is it still safe for me to breastfeed?

As I’m sure you know it can be passed from my understanding it’s perfectky safe are you washing your breast after a feed ? X
