I was out and about shopping the other day with my 7 week old. At the till I heard a little girl behind me commenting on my baby in the pram saying he's cute etc and her mother said oh what a lovely little girl.

What's your opinions on first glance at my baby? I'm not upset or anything 😂 just wondering wether I have maybe dressed him too 'girly' this day? I prefer him in neutrals rather than the usual blue

There's also a photo of the little shirt I like to dress him in too with the bobble hat

I think the clothes are perfectly boyish! I like them - I would also have happily put DD in them though.

Such a gorgeous baby! Congratulations.

When I saw your thread title and the first photo, I'm afraid my first thought was that the thread might be about car seat safety as he is quite scrunched up in his seat (fairly typical of infant car seats), which is ok but only for short periods (20 minutes).

Thanks yeah I think they're a mixture that both boy and girl could wear 😊

Ah yes he's only in it in the car but was only popping out for some food shopping so better then to put the bigger part of the pram on. However I can agree sometimes I look at him and he looks a little scrunched up so I carry him for a while @INeedNewShoes

It doesn't matter how you dress them. People will choose whatever sex they prefer/like. Only the other week the health visitor commented on my son. While my daughter was naked on the scales in front of her.

@Janetchewsmyknickers sorry I don't understand. Do you mean your son and daughter were there?
Yeah I'm not bothered that they thought my son was a girl as I know when they're so young they could look to be either

I had mines head to toe in pink once and a woman said what a lovely boy I had (not that colour dictates gender) but literally head to toe and pink with a pink and purple blanket. I was a bit Hmm😂
