AIBU to say no TV tonight

My 3 getting on for 4 year old bit one of his friends at nursery today. There last time this happened we said there would be no TV that night, I'm in two minds about carrying this through though as it's not an immediate consequence. Thoughts?
If anyone has handled this themselves the advice would be appreciated.

Honestly no TV won't hurt anyway - what did nursery do at the time? Have you asked DS what happened?
