Dirty wellies ruining buggy

We have a pale pink buggy (gifted, I would have gone for black!). DD is walking now and loves jumping in puddles etc. When she gets back in the buggy it gets so muddy in the foot bit(?). I'm having to wipe it every time we get home and it's just looking grubbier and grubbier. Is there any magic invention which I don't know about? I'd take her shoes off before she gets in but it's quite hard to do that when it's wet and I'm on my own.

Not totally helpful here but does it matter? It's the kind of thing that will worry you more than others.

Alternatively you could get a cheap rucksack rain cover and put that over that section of the buggy?

Buggy liner/ bottom part of a cosy toe which can be torn off/ washed

I used to have a bin bag in the bottom of the pushchair that I'd get my toddler to keep her feet in when they were all muddy!
