I have heard mixed reviews about this and wanted to know if anyone feeds their babies a little bit boiled cooled down water in between feeds etc to keep them hydrated and help with going for a poo?

Are your children’s vaccines up to date?

What age? Breast feed or formula feed? Are they struggling to poo?

How old is baby? Breast or formula? Is it hot currently?

You should only give water to a formula fed baby when it is hot, if they’re constipated you need to see your gp, not try home remedies. Unless baby is over 6 months old, then water is ok.

Breast milk is perfectly suited to quench your baby's thirst, no matter what the ambient temperature is or if they have a temperature etc. What makes you think your little one might need water?
