14 nearly 15 month old little girl has gone from being a good eater to awful 😩 been going on 3-4 weeks now. She’ll eat breakfast because she must be starving, lunch I’m lucky if she eats a quarter of it and tea is an absolute no go. Tried snacks throughout the day, will eat a few but nothing major to put her off her meals. A bottle in the morning and before bed, sometimes maybe 4oz in the afternoon is she hasn’t eaten. I’m literally at my wits end with it. Doesn’t matter if it’s spoon feeding or feeding herself. Today she has had a bowl of porridge, some cheese, 4 mouthfuls of lunch, couple of blueberries and 3 chips off my plate. Tried giving calpol half an hour before in case it’s her teeth but hasn’t helped.

I didn’t want to read and not post. I have a 19month old and he is no different to yours.

Although somehow he has managed an affinity for chips when I didn’t even give him chips? But now I give chips because he doesn’t eat much else!

He had two spoons of rice crispies
One bite of toast
A homemade muffin
Some fries for lunch (as out with his dad)
One sweet potato wedge for tea. Left the protein, fruit and jelly that I gave after.

He’s just gone to sleep with 8oz of milk.

I know he likes the muffins so I’ve been making carrot ones and will have to try a few more recipes.
Last few days -
I made home made potato croquettes with peas yesterday and he didn’t have any!
I made pasta with veg sauce. He didn’t have any
I made rice and lentils. He didn’t have any

I still make food in the hope he will try some 😫

My 3 year old has always done this for a month or 2 before a growth spurt. One day he just wakes up starving and won't stop for a week. Trust your baby, she will eat if she needs it.

Ours have all gone through stages like this. It's soul destroying. I've found that you just have to wait it out, and keep offering a few different bits to tempt them - often something random turns out to be just what they fancy. I also turn to multi vitamins at these sort of times - mostly to stop me fretting so much! I always figure that if they were absolutely starving, you'd know about it. And at least you know they're getting some good stuff in them regardless.
