Montesssori opinions please

Thinking of a Montessori preschool and primary for our daughter. We like the ethos and think she'd do well there. Could anyone whose children attend one let me know how they've found it please? There isn't a Montessori secondary school where I live, so my concern is what the jump into a 'normal' school would be like later on. Thanks!

I went to a Montessori preschool and primary and it was wonderful. Really supportive and nurturing and it didn’t feel like ‘school’ because it was so self directed. I think I learned a lot of independence and how to manage myself and what I was learning, which really helped me as I got older. My dc have both gone to a Montessori style nursery and we’ve loved it.
