Flu vaccine for toddlers

HI everyone

It’s nearly flu season and the NHS website says 2-3 year olds can have this if they was born before end of August 2017, my LO will be 2 in November so does that mean she won’t be able to have it this year? Or will she be able to have it in November?

I asked the nurse earlier this year and they told me that it would depend how many vaccines they have left by the time LO is 2. They have to order in advance so base it on the number of children on the books of the "right" age. It's probably worth a call to the surgery to see.

I would check with the surgery. I probably depends on how much supply they have left. But last year the nasal vaccines didn’t even arrive around here until November. I would probably call once he’s 2 and just see if you can still book in.
