Potty training dd.... great with her wees, but holding in the poos (even with nappy on).... help!

Started potty training with dd this week who is 2.4. Sticker chart on wall, lots of choclate buttons as bribes, and masses of praise and patience as required. Wees all absolutely fine, no wet pants for 2 days now, but she seems terified to poo anywhere. She isn't constipated, she's getting lots of fruit and fluid, and any little poops that manage to escape (!) are soft enough (sorry for detail!). Do I just continue being encouraging and patient? Try a bigger bribe? Anything specific I can do to help? She's got a sore tummy now, and she knows it's because she is holding in the poo, but it's as though she can't help herself....
BTW, nappy only for night time.

orangina
take her to the loo when you and your dh are going and let her hear the ploop etc and make it a laugh??
initiallythey are hesitant. but dont gothe nappy route for poos and toilet for wees, thats just prolonging the saga.

hermykne, i know you're right, we are only putting her in nappies for the nights at the moment, definitely don't want to go down the 1/2 pants 1/2 nappies routine.... as it is, she is still telling us that she wants to do a wee wee even when she is in her bed with her nappy on.
The silly thing is, when we were on holiday earlier this summer, she was quite good at doing a poo in her potty from time to time, so it's not as though she can't or has never done it. I just don't want this to become an issue for her.... trying to remain as natural and patient as I can over it so as to avoid that...
