My little one is now 6 months, once they reach 6 months do you all still stick to bottles every 3/4 hours or can you relax abit with it? I find myself timing his bottles and then I'll make him one up 3 hours later and sometimes he just doesn't want it 🙈 I'm also doing purees with him, I've been doing this since 5 months and tbh so far this week he has been having 3 meals but small meals. He also has 5oz in his bottle as can't get him to have anymore, I make him a 6oz bottle for bed which sometimes he has all of it and sometimes he doesn't.
I'd just like to know how you all fit in bottles and food throughout the day xx

Dd3 has just turned 6months.

Our only fixed routine for formula during her day is that she wakes around 7-7.30 and has 180mls then plays for a bit as we all get ready and she has a bottle around 8pm when she goes to bed.

I give her breakfast around 8.30.
Lunch 11.30
Dinner between 4-5 ( sometimes slightly later just depends when I get a moment)

She generally has a short morning nap of less than an hour and may have a bottle before it but I usually follow her cues.

She has around 2 hours in the afternoon and always has a bottle before that but again time will vary slightly.

If we are going out or have a long car journey I'll give a bottle before we leave to top her up and keep snacks handy that the older dd can pass her in the car.

Ive never stuck to a formal routine with mine. If they are hungry I feed if they are tired I let them sleep. If I want to go out during the afternoon dd will find time to nap either once we are back or whilst we are out. It's not perfect but works for us 🤷🏼‍♀️
