PGCEi or PGCE Distance Learning

I wonder if anyone has competed either the PGCEi through Sheffield or the PGCE distance learning through Nottingham. I can't seem to find any concise student reviews or experiences online. I've been accepted to both. Sheffield is cheaper but their PGCE doesn't seem to be as well known as Nottingham. However, Nottingham requires attendance at a cohort in the middle of the school year and it's more expensive than Sheffield. Additionally all email contact I've had with Nottingham has left me questioning their professionalism (emails with typos, numerous emails about my "arrival" or my "move" to their university location when in fact I've applied and been accepted into a distance learning programme). Sheffield, on the other hand, seems far more organized but, again, it's the lesser known of the two.
Any advice?

Think you'd best asking @MNHQ to move this into a different topic OP.
