Does anyone else feel like they cant have anymore children as they are busy, exhausted, too skint, too old, partners done etc but you miss the journey so much.
I have a boy and a girl. One is 4 and at school now. One is 1.5. I am still a mum to small people in every sense but my hsart aches that i wont do it again.
I hated the sickness and exhaustion. Labour and recovery was tiring. I am a busy mummy now and i dont have the space or energy for another. My partners done too lol.
But i find it really hard to accept i wont ever go through the scans, the telling people, the trips to mothercare to buy tiny things, the 4d scans, the name choosing, the midwife appointments, the anticipation, the labour, holding them for the first time. Having that tiny baby tucked up in a pram. Why do i have to feel like this. I walked past the hospital where i had my scans this week and wished i could go in there and experience it all again lol
