Haven't posted here in a while! I'm looking for advise on my daughters friends. She is 9 years old and has a large group of friends. One friend in particular and her mother almost seem to obsess over my daughter. They are both lovely people but I feel like the mother only wants my daughter to be friends with her daughter and no one else. If my daughter spends time with other kids (during school or outside) she seems to get a bit annoyed. If we have another friend over to our house to play she asks a thousand questions as to why the other child is here and how long they are staying. She has said to me many times that my daughter only plays with hers at school and doesn't hang out with anyone else. I don't want to be the parent that tells my child they can't be friends with someone but I just don't know what to do because it's really starting to bother me. Can anyone offer any help?
