Afternoon all!
I’m after some play ideas for my 20 month toddler please for in the house.
He doesn't like painting or play doh. He loves cars, enjoys books, playing with pans and kitchen utensils, climbing on cushions. He likes knocking down towers, putting the pegs in their tub.
Thanks all!

does he like water? you can put things that float (eg: plastic boats or corks out of bottles) in the water along with things like funnels and let them play around with it. spondges are fun for them to squish. use warm water so they can enjoy playing with it without getting too cold.

sticking things can also be fun, put pritt stick over a sheet of paper and let him stick pom poms to it

Filling & pouring games (water, sand, pom poms, lentils)
Sorting shapes (or colours if he's recognising them)
Posting games
Rolling a ball round the floor
Helping me with chores

If he likes books, would a story sack work? So a few toys or house items that link into the story to extend how you read.

In terms of toys, DS loves his IKEA kitchen and his play tunnel. Hours of fun.

Thank you for the ideas Smile
He loves water! I got him a water and sand table this summer which he’s wnjoyed playing with in the garden. I hadn’t thought of funnels and corks though so I’ll give them a try in the house.
I hadn’t thought of the story sack idea, sounds great thank you!
He loves his play tunnel and ikea circus tent.
Going to get him a kitchen for Christmas :)
We played with balloons today which he really liked.
