Baby wrap/snuggle cosy?

Hello parents. Hope you could help me. I'm having a baby in January. I have a problem with the carrycot but I will put the baby in a snowsuit some of the times out and about if it's cold/ not in shopping centres or other indoor places... is there anything else I can get cosy for the baby to wrap/ put in when in the carry cot pram.

Any ideas links pictures or names would be really helpful

We just used to pop DS in a cardi/little fleecy jacket and use a blanket or two depending on how chilly it was.

We did the same as Bells, dressed baby in a vest, babygrow, wool Cardigan and hat then added a few blankets.

It meant that we could remove/add layers without disturbing baby as needed rather than faffing to remove clothing. Made life much easier!

Snow suits are a pain when you have a tiny newborn, getting them in and out as you go in and out of places is an absolute faff. They're fine if you're going to be on a long outdoor walk, or when baby is bigger . And obviously you can't use them in the car seat.

I would have baby in a fluffy jacket that can be easily unzipped, a warm hat and a couple of cosy fleece blankets that you can take on and off.

DD was in a suit with velcro fastenings instead of a zip. However I only used it when going for long walks. I used lots of cellular blankets in her pram and for the car I was given other ones.

Have you seen the starsnugs? They are like a fleece snowsuit but looser and you just wrap baby into them. They are brilliant!

I recommend these star wraps to everyone. So easy to get on and off a wriggly baby.
