we are currently using a bucket rather than a potty as he doesnt like sitting down to wee and its a pita making sure everything is tucked in properly. put a tiny bit of washing up liquid in bottom of the bucket and the wee goes all bubbly. good luck

good luck and my god you must have your hands full how old are your dc i'm potty training my ds he's 2.3 and doing so well plenty of praise dont be anxious of puddles on floor just say oh dear we best sit on potty as thats where we wee wee and sit straight on potty

have a star chart for just sitting on to give encouragement and make a mad fuss when wee'd on potty then they know they have done good best to leave with no nappy or pants and try to encourage and make it fun we sang that song from look who's talking wee wee on the potty and mad dance on day 2 he was taking himself but he has delayed speech so cant ask me to go so was more independant anyway and depending on ages of others its still not to early as long as not new born lol just to sit them on to get them used to sitting on a potty you might be lucky to get them all trained lol

good luck and continuous big boy talk and wow what a big boy you are for everything if they feel at any point there doing wrong they dont want to do it but remember if fails first time he might not be ready leave a little while and try again i had to try twice with my son

we have a normal potty a potty chair which he prefers but will stand and wee in other potty now and also the seat you put on toiet he will sit on but the height frightens him so potty chair is a god send

Good luck Loobeeloo. First couple of days will be hard, but stick with it and I'm sure he will get there. My advice would be that if you think he is ready, then go for it and don't go down the road of putting a nappy on for car trips, etc etc, in my mind this is really confusing for children. If you can try and stay close to home for the first few days, difficult I know, and keep a potty in the car!!
Hope it goes well

Thanks guys we have already had accident number one but he told me he was weeing so I bigged it up and said what a good boy for telling me and lets see if you can tell me when you think you are going to before you do next time.

Not bothering with trousers today and staying home.

Will let you know how it goes

Thanks again
